Abbey of Sablonceaux

It is a classified Romance Abbaye of the 12th century Historic building. It was for a long time a high place of spiritual life before being sold with the revolution then repurchased by the Diocese of the La Rochelle and Saintes, it was entrusted to the Communauté of the New Way so that this one the face to live again. The abbey since found its religious dimension with the offices and the Eucharistie daily celebrated, a dimension of work with a ceramics workshop, a cookie factory and a store of monastic products, as well as a dimension of reception by retirements and the reception of the visitors.
