Sabines also entitled the Intervention of Sabines is a table painted by Jacques-Louis David between 1795 and 1799.
Work is considered when David is imprisoned with the Luxembourg in 1795, it still hesitates between representing this subject or that of Homère reciting its worms with the Greeks . Initially hung to the Palate of Luxembourg, the fabric finds the Louvre in 1826 after the death of the painter.
