SSX

SSX is a Video game of sport (Snowboard) developed and published by Electronic Arts in 2000.

Principle of the play

Of a rather convincing realism from the handiness point of view, but a little more whimsical in the circuits, SSX is a play of Snowboard which connects the races and the figures with a very particular care taken to graphics.

free Mode ( Free-wrinkle )

The play allows of surfer on 9 different circuits all in layouts and complexity with 8 characters the marked personality.

Tracks and Characters

Tracks

The tracks of SSX are located on planet, inspired a little everywhere by real places. They have each one their own style with particular objects and decorations. According to the place where one passes, that activates or not elements:

the track of the Echauffement ( Warmup in English) is an interior track designed to take the advice given by the announcer. It is composed of ten sections including/understanding each one two jumps.
Snowdream is located at Japan; it can sometimes snow
Elysium Alps is located in the French Alps. Comprising many ditches, it is the longest circuit.
Mercury City Meltdown is located at the North-East of the United States in a city of the Megalopolis. From night, the player can enter buildings and go to make a turn on the highway; he can sometimes snow.
Mesablanca is located at the South-west of the United States in a desert of the Rock ones. It been very hot there and the orange sun of end of the afternoon dissolve snow and create brooks.
Tokyo Megaplex is located at Japan in Tokyo. It is in fact a giant flipper articulated around a blower which makes it possible to go up the track: 3 turns are necessary.
Aloha Ice Jam is located in the Pacific Ocean. It is a gigantic iceberg melting constant by pipes. The race (only) proceeds in middle of afternoon and finishes on a beach.
Pipe Dream is located in a hall in England. Very short, it comprises a secrete way to maximize its points in Showoff (only).
Untracked (Out-Track) is located in an unknown place and does not comprise any reference mark on the ground. That does not prevent this track from having a clean environment with its fir trees frozen or not, its escarpés rocks, its vertiginous cliffs and its dusters of a bright white. It is available only in Freeride mode and is held early the morning; it can sometimes snow.

Characters

Each character has 11 boards correspondents with the 11 rows of competition SSX. The last 4 characters are accessible only while having filled of the conditions.

The 4 figures given after the name of the character are maximum possible improvements respectively in " CARRE" , " VITESSE" , " STABILITE" and " TRICKS". Certain boards is not in the principal style of wrinkling, it is indicated between brackets.

Mac (25/26/31/35), is young a 16 year old American (1,63m/53kg/groupe blood 0+) of style principal FREESTYLE. Its boards are: Weiner, Devilstick, Razorwire, Boo Boo, Spirit (Alpine), Benjamin, Buzzsaw (BX), AnimMac, VeloCity, WildWest and Interrupting Pirates .
Moby (25/26/25/33), is 18 years an English biker (1,77m/81kg/groupe blood 0) of style principal BX. Its boards are: Plasmatic, Patriot, Cutting, Entomology, Gasoline, Greenblade, Kinoptic (Alpine), AnimMoby, Datum, Sloppy Fucks and BlooGoo .
Elects (35/32/23/27), is a signal-model Canadian 23 years (1,80/54kg/groupe blood A) style principal BX. Its boards are: Kamoniwana, Angel, Smoothmaker, Butterfly High, True Colors (Alpine), Buttercup, Baby Fraud (Freestyle), Eliseanime, First Dates, Last Date and Snowbubbles .
Kaori (24/26/22/34), is young a 16 year old Japanese woman (1,52m/45kg/groupe blood B+) of style principal FREESTYLE. Its boards are: Nao-Vixen, Lady Coils Bug, Skyhopper, MOO MOO 22, Alpha (BX), Princess Pie, Corporate (BX), Kaori-animated, Banana Peeler, Sumo Trick Stick and Perpa Traitor .
Jurgen (27/30/35/20), is German a 35 year old (1,96m/104kg/groupe blood AB+), oldest of the riders and style principal BX. Its boards are: RedBase, German Scissor, Otis, Metaplate, Alpenshusser (Alpine), Chaotic Crippler, Corporate (Alpine), Jurganim, Aionic, The Boot and HairSuit .
JP (27/26/27/32), is 25 years arrogant French (1,77m/81kg/groupe blood AB-) of style principal FREESTYLE. Its boards are: ShowShopper, JetSetter, Magnate Split, Eurotech, Suave (BX), Resonance, Chaos Chrippler (BX), JP Ego-anim, Hucker Special, Big Poppa and Crazy Ates .
Zoe (28/28/26/27), is 19 years a boosted American young person (1,65m/59kg/groupe blood B) of style principal BX.
