SPG-9
SPG-9 Kopye is a gun without retreat anti tank S Soviet of 73 Misters Portable to back of man, it is assembled on a tripod. It draws from the stabilized ammunition with additional propulsion explosives of various types. It is designed to draw the Munition S used with BMP-1.
The projectile is projected out of the gun by a small load which gives him an initial speed ranging between 250 and 400 m/s. The load impels also an initial rotation with the projectile thanks to a series of holes bored along the tube. Once the projectile exceeded a distance from surroundings 20 m, the additional load starts. For the rocket of the type PG-9, the load allows to reach a speed going up to 700 m/s before the propulsion does not cease.
This weapon is in service in a great number of armed forces, with various types of ammunition (sometimes produced locally). But the majority of these ammunition are variations of the rockets PG-9 Soviet HEAT and OG-9 FRAG-HE .
A version used by the airborne troops comprises dismountable wheels (as on the SPG-9D.
