The Sema is a crowned dance of the Dancing dervishes soufic alévis which is carried out in the semahane (room of dance).

The Derviche is vêtu of a long white tunic, color of mourning, and a cylindrical hat in hair of camel, symbol of the tomb stone.

The right hand raised towards the sky, it collects the divine grace which it transmits to the ground by the left hand turned towards the ground.

It swivels on the left foot by tracing a circle to the tower of the track to arrive at the extase which enables him to be linked with God.

The dance is thus a prayer, a going beyond of oneself with the supreme union with God.

The circle is also the symbol of the religious Law which embraces the very whole Muslim community and its rays symbolize the ways leading to the center where is the supreme truth, the single god who is the gasoline even of the Islam.
