Romain Duris (born with Paris the May 28th 1974), is a Acteur French of Cinéma.

Biography

He studies the Applied arts but gives up painting to turn to the music. He creates a group of jazz-funk-rap then gives up it too. It is a little by chance that it turns to the trade of actor. Discovered at the exit of the courses by the director of casting of Cédric Klapisch, he did not want to become actor and was not frankly justified during its first casting.

The role which made it discover is that which it held in film of Cédric Klapisch the young Danger (1994), turned at the beginning for Arte which wanted telefilms over the years college. He collaborated thereafter several times with the realizer (who wished to maintain with him a relation comparable with that François Truffaut with Jean-Pierre Léaud): Each one seeks its cat , Peut-être , the Potluck , the Russian Headstocks . But it qualifies its relation with Cedric Klapish of " différente" of that which it had had with these two scenario writers.

Romain Duris is an eminently changeable, credible actor as well in the roles of light imagination ( Peut-être ) as dramatic ( to beat my heart stopped) or traditional, as a young clean student on him ( the Potluck ).
