SMPTE D11
SMPTE D11 , also called HDCAM, is a standard for the compression of the digital video high-definition. The video source for D11 can have a frequency of image of 24,25 or 30 images a second in progressive Balayage, or 50 or 60 screens a second in Entrelacé; compression makes it possible to obtain a flow ranging between 112 and 140 Mbits/s. Each image in D11 is composed of a signal of Luminance with 1920 X 1080 pixels and of a signal of Chrominance with 960 X 1080 pixels. During compression, the signal of brightness of each image is subsample to 1440 X 1080 pixels, while the signal of chrominance is subsample with 480 X 1080 pixels. The decoder restore size of exit to 1920 X 1080 per interpolation.
