Smap is a group of music Jpop, composed of Masahiro Nakai, Takuya Kimura, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, Goro Inagaki and Katori Shingo.
History
Group SMAP was formed in 1988, although their first individual left only in 1991. Letters “SMAP” means officially " Sports and Music Assembles People". Was SMAP in the beginning made up of the five current members as well as Katsuyuki Mori (森且行, Mori Katsuyuki?), which left the in May 1996 group in order to continue a career in the automobile race.SMAP began as a group with Johnny & Associates, an specialized agency in the adolescent artists. The artists of SMAP met in 1987 and were called the " Skate Boys". They were in the beginning dancers of help for Hikaru Genji, a very popular group in Japan at that time. In 1988, they formed SMAP. The Nakai, oldest of the group, was indicated to be the leader of the group. SMAP X SMAP
The group presents a weekly emission of varieties since 1996 on the chain Fuji TV.
