S4C
S4C ( Sianel Pedwar Cymru ) is the chain télévisione of language Welsh E of the Wales since November 1982.
The chain is created on the initiative of Gwynfor Evans and other political personalities and activists. Opposite the disavowal from the government brittanic concerning the provision of a Welsh chain télévisione, Gwynfor Evans held head with Margaret Thatcher and, in 1982, to threaten to start an unlimited hunger strike. He announced this decision little time after the death of Bobby Sands and his nine Irish companions at the end of an hunger strike that the “ Ram fer ” had let be completed on a fatal outcome.
