S.P. Somtow

Named “personality the most known inhabitant of Thailand throughout the world”, S.P. Somtow , of its true name Somtow Papinian Sucharitkul, is at the same time novelist, realizer and type-setter of classical music.

Youth

Symphonic work

Opera

A fourth opera, “daN no Ura”, is programmed for November 2007 in Bangkok. He is currently artistic director of the opera of Bangkok. In 2006, Somtow Papinian Sucharitkul led to it first representation of opera the Gold of the Rhine of Wagner in the South-East Asia, and projects to produce the whole cycle of the Ring of Nibelung in the South-East Asia from here 2010.
