Sérénissime assassination

Sérénissime assassination is an account of Gabrielle Wittkop, published in 2001.

Presentation

With Venice, at the 18th century, Alvise Lanzi sees dying its wives successively: police intrigue on which the author develops an impressive series of animated sights of a city built on the lie of his channels. The Kaleidoscope of images, inspired of the tables of Francesco Guardi, Pietro Longhi and Tiepolo the Young person, is used as decoration with a " strange drama and cruel" where the research of the culprit is certainly not the most important adventure for the reader.
