Ségur (subway of Paris)
Ségur is a station of the line 10 of the Métro of Paris; it is located at the limit of the 7 {{E}} and 15 {{E}} districts of Paris.
The station
In spite of its name, the station is on the avenue of Suffren, the avenue of Ségur being located at a hundred meters.
History
The station draws its name from the marquis Philippe Henri de Ségur (1724 - 1801) who was Marshal of France and Secretary of State to the War of 1780 with 1787. The name of Ségur is known more by the novels of its grand-daughter by alliance, the countess Sophie Rostopchine de Ségur (1799 - 1874), among whom appear inter alia: Misfortunes of Sophie , Memories of an ass , model little girls .

The station is close to UNESCO, of the avenue of Breteuil, celebrates which occurred leading to the Invalides, as well as Military academy, at the end of the Champ de Mars.
