Ségeste

Ségeste is an archeological site located at the west of the Sicily, in Italy. It is on the Bàrbaro mount, on the commune of Calatafimi-Segesta, with ten kilometers of Alcamo and Castellammare del Golfo.
Ségeste was rested by the people of the Élymes. The inhabitants built there a temple with the O C and a theater to the III E. In -409, the city is combined with the Carthaginois to overcome the rival city of Sélinonte. It was destroyed by the Vandale S at the 5th century.
