Ségala
Geographical location
Ségala (in Occitan lo Segalar ) is an area of the departments of the Aveyron, Tarn, and Tarn-et-Garonne. It is an area geological, and nonhistorical, contrary to the Albigensian, and of Rouergue.
It is located in the western and south-western parts department of Aveyron and in the North-East for that of the Tarn. It is an area of hills called Puechs . It is crossed by the river Aveyron, of the Tarn, the Rance, and the Cérou.
This name is also that of the lord of Ségala living in the North-East of the department of the BATCH at the 14th century and which had thirteen children.
