Särö

Särö is a Swedish locality located in the parish of Släp and on the territory of the Commune of Kungsbacka, in the Comté of Halland. In 2006, one counted there 2.982 inhabitants (against 2.866 in 2000) for a surface of 453 hectares.

Särö is with 15 kilometers in the south of Gothenburg, in the peninsula of Särö located in edge of the Cattégat. One finds a golf course there, as well as a church built in 1923. The locality owes part of its fame with the fact that the king Gustave V of Sweden came to play tennis often there.
