Rutland

The county of Rutland is the smallest county of England. It is bordered in the west and north by the Leicestershire, in the North-East by the Lincolnshire and in south-east by the Northamptonshire. The administrative reform of 1974 attaches Rutland to the Leicestershire. Since 1997, Rutland became a unit Authority.

Its greater extent of north in the south east of only 27 km, and that of is in west of 26 km.

Both plus big cities are Oakham, the chief town, and Uppingham.
