church of russy bémont

Located at Bémont (mount of oxen), the church overhangs the valley of the autumn and the marshes of Berval. Its bell-tower strengthened date of XIVe century.

The geogrphic situation of the church is not hazardous; the site makes it possible to communicate with the other bell-towers of the valley (cf 35 bell-towers of the valley of the autumn) and the fortified towns neighborhood; firm strengthened russy, castle of vaumoise, abbey of the place restored and especially the keep of Vez, located a few kilometres from there… The keep thus converted into turn of ford, pertmettait to prevent the English invasions coming from north or the incursions coming from the forest from Retz in the east.
