Russ Anderson
Russ Anderson (born the March 8th 1959 with Of the Monks in the Iowa) is old a professional defender of Hockey.
Career in club
Anderson began its career while playing in the university championship (NCAA) for the team of the Université of Minnesota, the Minnesota Golden Gopher, in 1975-76.At the beginning of season, it had been chosen by the two large leagues of North America during the fishings out of the National league of hockey and the Worldwide association of hockey.
- Fishing out LNH: Second round by the Penguins de Pittsburgh (31e choice)
- Fishing out AMH: Second round by the Jets of Winnipeg (22e choice).
Like many other players, it chooses Penguins so that it will play until in 1981-82, season during which it will join the Whalers de Hartford. He becomes about it the captain for the Saison LNH 1982-83.
Then, it will join the Kings of Los Angeles and will play some matches for the team holds of Kings: the Nighthawks de New Haven of the American League of hockey.
It puts an end to its career at the end of the Saison LNH 1984-85.
