Rushen (administrative parish)

Rushen is a administrative Paroisse Sheading of Rushen and has according to the census of the year 2001: 1504 residents. It is an agricultural district and fishing with the southern point of the island.
The villages of Port Erin and Holy Port Mary are, with the administrative parish of Rushen , also in the insular parish of Rushen (the two other insular parishes of the sheading are Arbory and Malew).
The district of Rushen, which covers the essence of the sheading of Rushen (without the parish of Malew nor the town of Castletown), elects 3 MHK.
