Running induced

----

The induced running , by its effects is opposed to the causes which gave him birth (Lenz's law). The origin of this induced current results from the variation of a electromagnetic Flux Inducteur through a Circuit closed called Induit. The induced current creates a Magnetic field then induced, such as flow thus induced (i.e. created) is opposed to inductive flow. Michael Faraday discovered the phenomenon of induction in 1831. It established that the electromotive Force produced along a closed loop is proportional to the rate of change of the magnetic flux.

Theorem

For a Reel prone to a change of magnetic field, the Faraday's law for induction establishes that:
\ epsilon= - N
U= {- {D \ Phi} \ over dt}

With:

  • ε the electromotive force in V;
  • NR the number of revolutions of the reel;
  • Φ magnetic flux in Wb;
  • U the tension induced out of V.

Applications

This principle is applied:
  • In the generating of electricity and in particular a Dynamo of bicycle, where the rotation of a Magnet inside a reel, generates a D.C. current in this one, sufficient to feed the system of lighting.
  • the electrical motors where one creates by feeding in electric current an inductive winding a variable electromagnetic field, this last generates by induction of the force S, putting moving induces it.

Moreover, the Lenz's law gives the direction of the induced electromotive force.
