Running away FM

Radio Running away Youth was created by a group of students in 1982. The first studio was impromptu in a Camion. The musical color of the station attracts the listeners of Compiegne, the station professionnalise and becomes radio Fugue then Fugue FM and Fugue . It passes from the associative statute to the commercial statute in 1986. Many financial partners support it and allow him to become one of the most important private radios of the Oise then of Picardy. In 1999, Fugue FM approaches the northerner group Contact FM which takes participations in the station and conceives the programs. The director of Contact FM becomes also that of Fugue . In 2002, the SCUMS withdraws with association Radio Running away the exploitation of the station which changes owner and name to become Fugue, program Contact .

Programming of 65% of gold and 55% of French-speaking Music .
Target: the 20-34 years.
Since 1999: program Dance and Techno.

  • April 1st 1982: Creation of Radio Running away Youth

  • August 1987: Authorization to emit
  • February 1994: Joined GIE “Independent” the
  • 1999: Fugue approaches Contact FM and settles with Amiens then with Tourcoing in the buildings of Contact FM.
  • 22 October 2002: The authorization to emit granted to association Radio Running away is repealed by SCUMS. The station enters the bosom of Contact FM, the program institule from now on Fugue FM, program Contact .
  • 2 December 2002: Running away FM leaves definitively the place to Contact FM.
