Rumes
Rumes is a common French-speaking of Belgium located in Walloon region in the Province of Hainaut.
History

Culture
Rumes is known for its many cultural activities, one will count among these:
- the fiète of the slope of ichi , which is the local festival of potato;
- cox, a concentration monster of car ladybirds and VW;
- the acarti fair , which is a presentation of the tradesmen of our three villages;
- annual stock sale: a super large convivial market with small restoration, giant lamb barbecue, barbecue…
And his innumerable festivals, balls, and like one says on our premises “to all the saints q' in bou” (in light, all the occasions are good to have fun the festival).
Music
Rumes comprises a very famous Fanfare harmonic, as well as groups of musics.
