Ruggero Cobelli

Ruggero (of) Cobelli is a Médecin and a Italian Naturaliste , born the April 5th 1838 with Rovereto, Trentin and dead the September 5th 1921 in this same city.
After studies with Rovereto, it leaves to study medicine with the Université of Padoue in 1856. In 1858, it will study with the Université of Vienna. It returns in Padoue in 1862, year during which it passes its doctorates of medicine (on June 18th) and surgery (on November 14th). The following year, it is graduate of Obstétrique.
Of 1862 with 1866, he is assistant at the institute of physiology of the university of Padoue. After having been useful during a few months with the military hospital of the city, it turns over to Rovereto where it teaches the Natural history at the Elisabettina school of 1869 with 1870 then the medicine of 1872 with 1902.
He is the author of 158 publications on various subjects, mainly on the Botanique and the Entomologie (and in particular on the Sériciculture and the Apiculture). He makes appear catalogs on the Orthoptère S, the Hémiptère S Cicadinae and the Hyménoptère S of Trentin. He undertakes many research with his brother Giovanni Cobelli (1849-1937), teacher and naturalist amateur. Its collections, bequeathed to the Natural history museum of Rovereto, were destroyed during the war of 1915-1918.
