Rue de la Perle (Paris)
the street of the Pearl is located in full heart of the district of the Marais in Paris (III {{E}} district).
Carrying the name of a sign of a play of palm, this old part of the Street of Thorigny or street Tourigny, and in the past street Tougin, begins with the angle from the Place and the Rue from Thorigny, to succeed Old Rue of the Temple. It is prolonged by the Rue of the Four-Wire. This street is bordered of private mansions of the XVIIe century on its southern part. This particularly broad street for the district, was in fact on the prolongation under consideration at the beginning of the XXe century, of the Rue Etienne-Marcel which was to be prolonged until the Boulevard Beaumarchais. Certain buildings in the north of the street go back to this time. Fortunately this project was not concretized completely. In the Marsh, one finds another end of this Rue Etienne Marcel " prolongée" , Street Roger-Verlomme.
