Rue Saint-Nicolas (Nancy)

The street Saint Nicolas's Day is a street of Nancy, located between the Rue of the Faience manufacture and the Rue Charles III.
Origin of the name
The origin is so to speak double: Saint Nicolas, which is the owner of Lorraine and this street led to the town of Saint-Nicolas-of-Port, place of pilgrimage because of Basilique dedicated to Saint Nicolas's Day.

Structure
Being the only preserved street of the old suburb located " out the murs" before construction of Villeneuve of Nancy with its checkerboard plan. The street appears sinuous, of variable size and also has the effect of presenting an alternation of some frontages rebirths in the middle of traditional buildings of style.
