The street Cognacq-Jay is a street of the 7 {{E}} district named according to Ernest Cognacq and Marie-Louise Jaÿ his wife, founders of the department store of Samaritaine.
The street is famous thanks to the studios of Télévision which were installed there and which transfer the beginnings of French television.
