Rue Bobillot
The street Bobillot is a street of the 13 {{E}} district of Paris, in the Quartier of the White House. It connects the Place of Italy to the Place of Rungis, over a 1.070 meters length.
Origin of the name
Jules Bobillot (1860-1885), sergeant of marines French born in Paris. During the Franco-Chinese War, it is characterized by its courage at the time of the Siège of Tuyen Quang where it is seriously wounded (it will die one month later at the hospital of Hanoï). He quickly becomes a colonial hero, symbol of the patriotism promoted by the Third Republic.
