Rudolf Schenker

Rudolf Schenker (born on August 31st, 1948 with Hildesheim, Germany) is a German Guitariste, founding member and rhythmic guitarist of the German group of Hard rock Scorpions.

Biography

Rudolf Schenker is born on August 31st, 1948 in the town of Hildesheim not far from Hanover. It has a sister and a brother Michael whom it initiates with the guitar. In 1965, 17 years old, it founds with friends the group Scorpions of which he is the leader. In 1969 it recruits his Michael brother as a guitarist, Lothar Heimberg as a bass player like Klaus Meine as a singer to belong to the group. With this formation Scorpions leaves its first album ( Lonesome Crow ) in 1972. During following years Scorpions will be a planetary success and will become one of the greatest groups of hard rock of the world. Rudolf Schenker has a son born of sound only marriage and lives today in Schwarmstedt beside Hanover.

Musical career

Rudolf Schenker is known to be one of the best rhythmic guitarists of rock'n'roll in the world and for its skill to play of the guitar Gibson Flying V (of which it has besides one of the vastest collections in the world, comprising more than 70 models of which limited series and even original of 1958).
