Rudolf Rocker
Rudolf Rocker (born with Mainz, the March 25th 1873, died in Mohegan, Maine, the United States the September 19th 1932) was a historian, a writer and a major figure of the movement international Anarchiste.
In Nationalismus und Kultur it makes a full rotation of the history of humanity through the prism of nationalism. He claims that nationalism limits cultural development in the broad direction. Never the man was also creative only during the time of decline of the states and the concept of nation. Nationalismus und Kultur is an imposing work which invites the reader to re-examine his generally accepted ideas on enormously fields. He finishes the book while drawing the conclusions for the future of Europe by preaching the federalism. The recent events of our history anything else make only give him reason.
Although underlining the aberrations of capitalism, it maintenance that this last is less worse by far than the " communisme" primarily because of the loss of freedom that this last comprises.
Nationalismus und Kultur was published in English because it was completed in the United States There exists also an edition in Spanish and of course in German.
