A guinde is a bond which is used to hang the bearing ones of a Décor the ones with the others, or to suspend them on the Cintres.
It is one of the words which one uses, with the Théâtre, in the place of the word cord, fatal word , interdict in reference to the only cord which is on a boat, that of the bell. In France, the unoccupied sailors with the sea had like function the implementation of the decorations. The majority of the terms of machinery would come from the navy. The " term; guinde" would come from " guindeau"
