Rudi Hiti

Rudi Hiti (born the November 4th 1946 with Kurja, village of Jesenice in Slovenia) is a former Slovenien player of Hockey.

Career of player

He begins hockey at the 13 years age in Jesenice. In 1962, it joined the HK Kranjska Gora. Thereafter, it carries the colors of the HK Jesenice and the HK Olimpija. It twice gains the championship with the HK Jesenice and twice with the HK Olimpija. In 1970, he played a match of exhibition with the Blackhawks of Chicago, evolving/moving in National league of hockey, against the Stars of Dallas. During this meeting, it receives a metal disc in the jaw which makes it return as Slovenia. In 1972, it declines an offer of the Sharks of Los Angeles less important than that which the HK Olimpija proposes to him. From 1974, it evolved/moved of many years in Serie has with Bolzano with which it gains three times the championship, Alleghe or Like.

International career

It represented the Équipe of Yugoslavia of hockey. It honors its first selection in 1964 with Graz vis-a-vis the Austria. It took part in 17 championships of the world like to the Olympic Games of Grenoble 1968 and Sapporo 1972.

Poletna Liga

Poletna Liga an international friendly tournament of hockey bearing its name is organized at the time of the estival présaison with Bled in Slovenia.
