Ruben Houkes

Ruben Houkes , born on June 8th, 1979 in sport, is a Judo ka Dutch evolving/moving in the category of less than 60 kg (light welterweights). Double European medal-holder in 2005 and 2006, the judoka is eliminated as of the first turn of the continental tournament in 2007. However, a few months later, Houkes conquers the championship of the world with Rio de Janeiro. After four combat gained by short advantages, it is qualified for the finale of the tournament during which it beats Géorgien Nestor Khergiani, however Olympic vice-champion.
