Tourist monuments and places

The Bargoin park has largest maple of France which is 250 years old and a circumference of 7,50 meters.

The “cave of the Dog” is a Grotte in which a Mofette is which releases from the emanations of Carbonic gas. To show with the public the reality of these emanations, one formerly descended there a Chien which, at the end of a few minutes, staggered, because it was asphyxiated: the carbonic gas being heavier than the air, this one stagnates downwards; one then went up it with the free air, where it could again breathe normally. Nowadays, one descends there a Bougie which dies out at once, or one made there float bubbles of Savon. The public can also there go down and sit down on the “bench of the mothers-in-law” where, at the end of a few minutes, one feels giddinesses and tinglings in the Nez; it is then necessary to go up, because the Asphyxie quickly arrived. It is disadvised letting there go down from the children, because their nose being lower than that of the adults, they more quickly feels the effect of gas.

The center thermoludic Royatonic should open its doors in November 2007.
