In Belgium, a royal stopped is a decision of the Federal government applying a law. It becomes effective the day of its publication to the Belgian Moniteur. The royal decree specifies modes of enforcement of the law. During the Second world war, the government had to take to decree-laws bus the Parliament did not meet.
