Royal Rumble 1997 is the tenth Royal Rumble of the history of the World Wrestling Entertainment. It was held the January 19th 1997 with the Alamodome of San Antonio.

Vader carried out fallen on Undertaker after a Vaderbomb.
Paul Bearer was brought back and intervened in favor of Vader. Bearer struck later Undertaker with its Urne.
After the match, The Undertaker Chokeslam mait the referee Jack Doan.

Héctor Garza, Perro Aguayo and El Canek def. Jerry Estrada, Heavy Metal and Fuerza Guerrera (10: 56)

Aguayo carried out fallen on Metal after a double diving foot stomp from the third cord.

Steve Austin gained Royal Rumble 1997 (50: 29)

the last two participants were Steve Austin and Bret Hart. Austin eliminated Bret by behind gaining Royal Rumble.
After being eliminated, Mankind and Terry Funk started to fight apart from the boxing ring and were to be done separated by the referees. While this was held, Hart eliminated Austin but the referees did not see it being occupied with the brawl.
