  • the promotional poster of this edition was used as inspiration for that of 2001 which included/understood best the superstars WWF in a similar format. The Royal Rumble 1992 has a poster which is similar seemingly but which is in a style of rather different art.
  • WWF Magazine annoonçait André the Giant, Buddy Pink and The Honky Tonk Man like participants in Royal Rumble. Rose and The Honky Tonk Man were not any more with the WWF at the time of Rumble. Andre was him put on side for preoccupations with a health. They were replaced by Tito Santana, Shane Douglas and Greg Valentine.
  • Rick Martel beat the record of longevity on the boxing ring, remaining 52:17.
