Royal Rumble
WWE Royal Rumble is a Pay per view divisions RAW, SmackDown! and being held ECW each year in the month of January. The Royal Rumble belongs to the four Pay per view original of WWE with WrestleMania, SummerSlam and the Survivor Series. The characteristic of this exceptional Show is its Hand Vent: Royal Rumble Match.
Royal Rumble Match implies 30 all-in wrestlers (except in 1988 when only 20 all-in wrestlers took part in this tournament), generally 15 of Raw and 15 of Smackdown. At the beginning of the match, only two all-in wrestlers are in the boxing ring, the other all-in wrestlers making their entries each one in their turn following a regular time interval (in general two minutes). The goal of the match is to eliminate all the other all-in wrestlers by projecting them over the third cord to make them fall down out of the boxing ring, and the two feet must touch the ground. Any all-in wrestler left the boxing ring is eliminated, and that remaining alone on the boxing ring, after all the all-in wrestlers entered, is declared victorious Royal Rumble Match
A victory in Royal Rumble Match gives right a match of Championship of the world (currently WWE World Heavyweight Championship for SmackDown!, WWE Championship for RAW) at the time of Pay Per View of end of season WrestleMania.
It should be noted that since 2001, the winner of Royal Rumble match systematically gained the belt with Wrestlemania.
