France
This title was carried by:during the French revolution
- Louis XVII of 1791 with 1792. This title replaced that of “Dauphin” the August 14th 1791, and was taken again by the Constitution of 1791 (Chapter II, section III, article 1)
under the Monarchy of July
- Ferdinand-Philippe of Orleans of 1830 with 1842.
- Philippe of Orleans (1838-1894) of 1842 with 1848
Portugal
- the title Prince Royal of Portugal is carried by the heir to the crown of Portugal since 1822. See: royal Prince of Portugal
Belgium
- Baudouin of Belgium was named royal prince of Belgium August 3rd 1950 with the July 17th 1951, title which it gave up when it became King of the Belgians.
