Royal Annapolis

Annapolis Royal is a Canadian city located on the west coast of the province of the Nova Scotia, in the Comté of Annapolis. In 2004, the city counted 548 inhabitants.

Geographical location

The commune is located on the western part of the Vallée of Annapolis. The Baie of Fundy is just with 10 kilometers in north.

History

With Royal Port, this area is being the European colony oldest in the north of St Augustine in Florida. This colony was founded by Samuel de Champlain and Pierre Dugua of Mons in 1605.
