Roy Emerson

Roy Stanley Emerson (born the November 3rd 1936 with BlackButt, Australia) is an Australian tennis player.

He gained 12 titles of the Large-Slam including 6 times the Open of Australia in 1961,1963 to 1967,2 times Roland-Garros in 1963 and 1967,2 times Wimbledon in 1964 and 1965 and 2 times the US Open in 1961 and 1964. He is with equality with the current World Number one Switzerland Roger Federer with regard to the titles of the Large Slam, 2 lengths behind old the n°1 world the American Pete Sampras.
