Roxy Music is a group of British music rock'n'roll , created at the beginning of the Années 1970 by Bryan Ferry and Brian Eno. It was primarily active of 1971 with 1975, then of 1978 with 1983. The group was reformed for a round in 2001 and a new album is announced for end 2007.

History

Genesis of the group

After studies of art to Newcastle where it is interested in the Pop art, to Andy Warhol and the Conceptual art, Bryan Ferry settles with London in 1968, where it teaches ceramics, while composing of the songs. First albums

Reformation

In 2002, new meeting of the musicians for a round which will last 2 years. The June 11th 2005, Roxy Music occurs at the festival of the island of Wight and on July 2nd following to the Live 8 to Berlin.

A new album is envisaged, and Brian Eno took part in two days of recording. A new round (without Eno which therefore did not reinstate the group) takes place in 2006.
