According to the Office of the census of the United States, surface of the east city of 68,1 km ², including 67,9 km ² of grounds and 0,2 km ² of water levels (either 0,23%).

Demography

According to the Census of 2000, there were 2.136 inhabitants, 848 households, and 620 families in the city. The Population density was of 31,4 hab/km ². There were 1.018 houses with a density of 15,0 maisons/km ². The ethnic decomposition of the population was: 97,24% white; 0,23% black; 0,19% Amerindian; 0,94% Asian S; 0,00% natives of the islands of the Peaceful ; 0,66% of the other races; 0,75% of two or more races. 1,31% of the population were Hispanique or Latino of any race.

There were 848 households, of which 29,2% had children of less than 18 years, 66,5% were married couples , 4,2% had a woman who was isolated relative, and 26,8% were not-family households. 20,3% of the households were made up people alone and 7,1% 65 years people alone or more. The average household comprised 2,52 people and the average family had 2,95 people.

In the city the population pyramid was 22,8% below 18 years, 3,7% from 18 to 24,25,5% from 25 to 44,34,3% from 45 to 64, and 13,8% which were 65 years old or more. The median age was 44 years. For 100 women, there were 104,0 men. For 100 18 year old women or more, there were 102,0 men.
