  • Among the organizers of film, was some… Tim Burton.

  • animation re-uses elements of Bambi (1942) for the sequence of the storm (two families of Canard S and of Caille S seek a shelter) and of Merlin the enchanter (1963) when Moustique is transformed into squirrel.

  • the production of film had to be delayed one year, part of the organizers having joined the new competitor studio of Don Bluth, which prepared then Brisby and the secrecy of NIMH (1982).

  • Jeanine Forney, which incarnates the voice of Vixy in the French version of film, had already been the voice of the princess Aurore/Rose in the second French version of Sleeping Beauty (1959).

  • Rox and Rouky is the drawing-animated last of Disney starting with complete credits and finishing by The End: Walt Disney Productions like all films since Alice with the Country of the Wonders (1951), Taram and the magic Cauldron (1985) being the first with étrenner credits of end (" end credits"). One will also note an complete absence of music during the first two minutes of film.

  • It is the last Disney film to use the analogical technique (traditional animation).

  • In an episode of The Emperor' S New School , Kuzco changes into a kitten which resembles young Rox.

  • When, after its vexations with the trout Rox must wipe the hilarity of Vixy, it follows from there between them an irritated dialog to which the French version of film gives a relatively poetic air, as the reproduction attached testifies some:

    • Rox, haughty : _ “You are only one… that a female. That a female without brain. ”
    • Vixy, furious : _ “You dare to say that to me? You do not miss a base! What a godelureau! ”
  • “Tod”, the original first name of Rox means “fox” in British slang. As for the first name of Vixy, it is based on the English word “vixen” which has as a direction first “vixen”. (Its original first name is “Vixey”, but the French version of film modified the orthography of it so that its pronunciation is not a problem for the French public.)
