Route secondary road 89 (Yvelines)

The secondary road 89 or D89 , is a secondary North-South axis of the North-West of the department of the Yvelines.

This road exclusively serves rural communes located at the borders of the Eure-et-Loir which profit thus from a direct connection, via the Trunk road 15, with the city close to Vernon.

Route

In the North-South direction, the common crossings are:

  • Port-Villez, beginning of D89 in edge of the Seine, with 20 meters of altitude, a little downstream from the village. The RD 89 connects up in skew on the Trunk road 15 (the Bonnières-on-Seine - Le Havre) and goes up on the plate to 140 meters of altitude by a rather long slope in the wood of Port-Villez which leads, under the name of “road of the Oak-Mister”, with the locality “Notre-Dame of the Sea” in extreme cases of the commune of Jeufosse;
  • Jeufosse,
  • Villeneuve-in-Chevrie, crossing (stop) with the Trunk road 13 (Paris - Cherbourg), then crossing (overpass) of the highway A13;
  • Lommoye, crossing with the secondary road 37 (Freneuse - Lommoye) with the crossing of a fringe of the regional forest of the Rosny-on-Seine and joint base on approximately 300 meters with this road to the locality “Tilery”;
  • Saint-Illiers-the-City;

  • Neauphlette, end of the road in extreme cases of the department of Eure-et-Loir in which it continues under the name of D115.
