Route main road 82
The trunk road 82 , or RN 82 , is a Trunk road French connecting Roanne to Chanas. The section of Roanne to Balbigny will be arranged with 2×2 ways in order to connect the Trunk road 7 to the A89.
Before 1972, it went until Andance; the section Davézieux - Chanas belonged to RN 519. The section Davézieux - Andance was displaced in RD 82 .

Future
Since January 1st 2006, the NR 82 is displaced in D1082 in the Loire, from Saint-Etienne, until the limit of Ardeche, then in D820 until Chanas.In Ardeche, on the NR 82, a fast track is in construction. Part of the way is made. It will connect Félines to Davézieux; this section will be finished in 2009. D820 will be named A79.
