The trunk road 516 or RN 516 is a trunk road French connecting Tour-du-Pin to Balme. The section of Tour-du-Pin with Saint-Genix-on-Guiers is part of the layout of origin while that of Saint-Genix-on-Guiers with Balme belonged to RN 521b.
Indeed, before the downgradings of 1972, it had a section of Saint-Genix-on-Guiers with Chambéry. This section was displaced in RD 916 .
