The trunk road 340 , or RN 340 , is a trunk road French connecting Haguenau to the exchanger N° 47 of the has 4 with Bernolsheim. The decree of December 5th 2005 envisages to preserve this Fast track in the network national.
Previously, RN 340 connected Hesdin to Ligny-on-Canche, close to Frévent. Following the reform of 1972, RN 340 was displaced in RD 340 , the Pas-de-Calais having allotted the name of RD 940 to old RN 40 between Bridge-of-Bricks and the limit of the department of the Somme.
