Route main road 24

The trunk road 24 , or RN 24 , is a trunk road French connecting Rennes to the commune of Lorient included in the Breton road plan.

From Rennes to Lorient

The road is the continuity of the trunk road 12 (Paris/Brittany) towards Lorient. It is entirely in 2x2 ways. Since July 1994, it circumvents by the south the military camp of St Cyr Coetquidan, camp which it previously crossed in its original layout.

Layout

The layout is:

beginning of the road with exchanger with the By-pass of Rennes, the RN 136. The road begins with Rennes where it crosses the western industrial Park and thus even if it is completely in 2x2 ways this section is made up many crossing with tricolor fires constituting a recurring point of stopper being reflected on the by-pass, of many projects are in particular considered that more completed bar of Vezin which will read again the RN 24 with the by-pass without fires.
