Route main road 23bis
The trunk road 23bis , or RN 23bis , was a trunk road French connecting Pre-in-Pail to Ancenis via Castle-Gontier and Segré. Following the reform of 1972, RN 23bis was downgraded and became RD 20 in Mayenne and RD 923 in Maine-et-Loire and Loire-Atlantique. Only the section between Villiers-Charlemagne and Castle-Gontier remained national; it belongs from now on to RN 162. Between Pre-in-Pail and Unpleasant-the-Juhel, this route is called " the Cornice of Pail".
