The trunk road 209 , or RN 209 , is a trunk road French connecting Varennes-on-To combine with Gannat by serving Vichy. It was at the origin of the sections:

This last section will be duplicated by the highway A719, it will be then displaced.

Before 1972, old RN 209 connected Saint-Laurent-of-VAr to the Bridge Charles-Albert via Gattières and Carros. It was displaced RD 2209 . However, in 2006, the section Gannat - A719 was also displaced RD 2209 .
